Manama: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has launched the Spring Festival dedicated to families affiliated with the Foundation, as part of its social care programmes aimed at supporting beneficiary mothers and children, enhancing quality of life, and reinforcing community values. The festival witnessed strong turnout, with more than 1,000 beneficiaries from various age groups taking part in its diverse activities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Mai Ahmed Al Saei, Director of the Charitable Resources Development Directorate at the RHF, affirmed that the Spring Festival forms part of the Foundation's vision to advance high-quality social programmes that serve families and contribute to achieving a sustainable impact in community development. Al Saei noted that the festival helped promote a range of community values, including cooperation, self-reliance, and respect for others, through shared activities that brought families and children together in an environment combining recreation with purposeful learning.
This year's Spring Festival programme featured a variety of recreational and educational activities, including events at Adhari Park, as well as Spring Camps held in the Sakhir area for children, youth, and adolescents. These initiatives aimed to strengthen national identity, foster a sense of belonging, empower children and young people, revive traditional heritage and community values, promote physical and psychological wellbeing, and support the development of a cohesive and cooperative youth community.
