Doha: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, engaged in a telephone conversation with Tom Berendsen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the conversation focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressed regional developments, particularly the ceasefire between the United States and Iran. The discussion highlighted efforts to promote de-escalation and enhance regional security and stability.
Both officials emphasized the importance of a positive response from all parties to ongoing mediation efforts. They stressed the need for peaceful dialogue to address the crisis’s root causes, aiming for a sustainable agreement to prevent future escalations.
