Qatar Denounces Iran’s Renewed Attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan

Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the renewed attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the territories of Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. The Qatari government views these actions as a severe violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the affected nations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Qatar News Agency (QNA) has labeled these attacks as a blatant breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and principles of good neighbourliness. This development has sparked concern over its implications for regional stability and international diplomacy.

In an official statement, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed that the ongoing attacks represent a dangerous escalation, which could hinder efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions. The ministry emphasized that these actions undermine diplomatic initiatives intended to restore peace and stability in the region.

The statement further declared that Qatar holds Iran fully and legally accountable for its actions. The State of Qatar reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, supporting all legitimate measures they take to protect their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

Qatar's foreign ministry called for an immediate cessation of hostilities, urging all parties involved to refrain from actions that could exacerbate the conflict. The ministry emphasized the importance of returning to dialogue and negotiations, adhering to diplomatic understandings previously reached to ensure regional peace and security.
