Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met with Fahad Mohammed Salem Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Mohammed bin Zayed Nature Reserve. The meeting included a tour of the reserve to review its facilities and the environmental protection efforts led by the Supreme Council for Environment in wildlife conservation and biodiversity preservation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Bin Daina stated that the royal order issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to name the reserve after His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reflects the deep relations between the two countries and their growing cooperation, particularly in the environmental field.
The UAE Ambassador emphasised that the naming of the reserve symbolises the strong ties between the leaderships of the two countries and their shared commitment to preserving natural heritage. He also highlighted the reserve's importance as a leading environmental landmark in Bahrain and stressed the need to enhance joint environmental cooperation to support sustainability.
The Mohammed bin Zayed Nature Reserve is one of Bahrain's most prominent environmental reserves, playing a key role in wildlife protection, biodiversity conservation, and environmental awareness.
