NHRA Showcases Research at International Healthcare Conference

Manama:The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) of Bahrain participated in the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) International Conference in Ireland, where it presented two scientific papers.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the NHRA delegation was led by Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, the Chief Executive Officer. This participation underscores Bahrain's active role in contributing to global healthcare quality and regulatory advancements.

Nargis Ashkanani, an NHRA Health Quality Assurance Specialist, presented the first paper, which focused on "Enhancing Quality Indicator Reporting Across All Hospitals in the Kingdom of Bahrain: The National Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Monitoring Platform." This paper detailed the creation of a national digital platform aimed at improving the monitoring of hospital KPIs, enhancing the collection and analysis of quality data, and supporting continuous improvements in healthcare services.

Dana Al Sabbagh, also an NHRA Health Quality Assurance Specialist, presented the second paper titled "Transitioning Towards Sustainability in Bahrain's National Accreditation Programme." This paper explored the NHRA's digital transformation of the national accreditation programme, emphasizing the integration of sustainability principles to improve resource use and streamline accreditation operations.

The participation of NHRA in the conference highlights the significance of Bahrain's national efforts in enhancing healthcare quality and the valuable contributions of Bahraini professionals to scientific research and international collaboration.
