Jeddah:His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has extended his congratulations to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, following the Saudi national football team's triumph in the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, which was held in Jeddah.
According to Bahrain News Agency, King Hamad expressed his best wishes to King Salman, the people of Saudi Arabia, and the nation itself for this significant sporting achievement. The King praised the Saudi national team's impressive performance, highlighting their sportsmanship, determination, and perseverance as key factors in securing the title.
King Hamad also commended Saudi Arabia's capabilities in organizing and hosting major sporting events, as demonstrated by the successful hosting of the tournament. He noted that the Gulf Cup exemplified the close bonds and shared values among the citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Furthermore, King Hamad acknowledged the support and attention given to sports in Saudi Arabia and wished the Saudi national team continued success, along with further progress and prosperity for the country and its people under King Salman's leadership.
