According to Bahrain News Agency, the cooperation framework underscores the NCSC's commitment to fostering partnerships with academic institutions to develop national talent and bridge the gap between academic and professional sectors. This collaboration is seen as a vital step towards expanding research, coordinating the development of cybersecurity curricula, and aligning educational programs with national priorities and labor market demands.
Shaikh Salman emphasized that the partnership would facilitate the creation and dissemination of specialized cybersecurity educational content, thereby promoting public awareness. It will also contribute to capacity building through joint events, workshops, and training programs, enhancing the skills of students, academic staff, and the community, in support of Bahrain's digital transformation and innovation goals.
