Muslim World League Condemns Houthi Attack on Saudi Vessel

Manama: The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the Houthi terrorist militia's targeting of a Saudi vessel in the Red Sea.

According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement issued by its General Secretariat, Sheikh Dr Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al Issa, MWL Secretary General and Chairman of the Organisation of Muslim Scholars, condemned the cowardly criminal attack, describing it as a violation of all religious values, international law, and humanitarian norms. He said it reflected the militia's criminal approach of targeting civilian and economic infrastructure and threatening international shipping routes and the marine environment.

On behalf of the MWL and its councils, bodies, and global assemblies, Al Issa reaffirmed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and support for all measures it takes in response to this terrorist attack.
