Tubli: Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, visited the new Capital Municipality Council building in Tubli, following its inauguration as the council's permanent headquarters.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Saleh Taher Taradah, President of the Capital Municipality Council; Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs; Mohammed Saad Al Sahli, Director General of the Capital Municipality; and Sabah Abdulkhaleq Al Sabah, Assistant Undersecretary for Common Municipal Services, were present during the visit. The minister toured the new building and reviewed its facilities and equipment, noting that it supports the development of municipal work and contributes to providing better services to citizens and visitors.
He emphasized the ministry's commitment to implementing service and municipal projects in the Capital Governorate, aiming to enhance service quality for citizens and upgrade municipal facilities, public parks, and urban fronts. Discussions were held on ongoing and planned service and municipal projects in the region.
Minister Al Mubarak commended the Capital Municipality Council's efforts and achievements in overseeing municipal projects. He highlighted the importance of coordination and cooperation to meet citizens' expectations and strengthen municipal work. Completed projects, as well as projects included in the 2026 plan such as the King Faisal Corniche Waterfront Project and the Sitra Central Market Development Project, were reviewed.
The President and members of the Capital Municipality Council expressed appreciation for the ministry's support in service projects, underscoring the importance of continued partnership and integration to advance municipal services and meet citizens' aspirations.
