Manama: Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs, engaged with Ahmed Al Majali, Regional Representative of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) for the Middle East, during the Middle East Regional Workshop held in Bahrain. The workshop, organized by WOAH from October 14-16, focused on "Strengthening One Health Implementation through the Joint Plan of Action."
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasized Bahrain's commitment to enhancing cooperation with WOAH to improve animal health and strengthen efforts against transboundary diseases. He highlighted the importance of WOAH's role in supporting regional initiatives to uphold health and food security principles.
Al Majali expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom for its exceptional hosting of the regional workshop. He praised the collaboration that underscores Bahrain's dedication to promoting the One Health approach across the region.
