More Than 270 Entities Participating, Expecting Over 150,000 Visitors at 1447H Hajj Conference in Jeddah

Jeddah: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) in Saudi Arabia announced details of the fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition 1447H, to be held in Jeddah from 9 to 12 November 2025, under the theme "From Makkah to the World," with the participation of more than 270 local and international entities, 225 speakers, and an expected attendance exceeding 150,000 visitors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Ghassan Alnwaimi, during the press briefing for the conference and exhibition, stated that the fifth edition represents a prestigious international platform for exchanging expertise and showcasing the latest innovative practices and technologies in serving pilgrims. The conference will be held over an area exceeding 60,000 square metres and will feature more than 143 sessions and workshops covering vital domains such as crowd management, artificial intelligence, logistics, and sustainable technologies, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Dr. Alnwaimi explained that the conference aims to achieve comprehensive integration between technology, infrastructure, and human resources, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. The "Innovation Zone," to be launched during the event, will display leading future technological solutions to improve the pilgrim experience and enhance services provided to them.

The spokesperson for the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives, Sultan Al Awairdi, confirmed that Darah is participating for the first time in this global event by organising the "History of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques Forum," which highlights the development of the Hajj journey through the ages, alongside the "100 Years of Care for the Two Holy Mosques" exhibition. This exhibition includes a rare collection of historical documents, manuscripts, photographs, and artifacts that document the Kingdom's ongoing efforts in caring for the Two Holy Mosques and serving pilgrims and Umrah performers.

Al Awairdi pointed out that this participation follows the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Darah Board of Directors, and with the support of Darah's CEO, Turki bin Mohammed Al Shuwaier, aiming to enhance the scientific and cultural content of the conference and draw attention to Saudi Arabia's civilisational and humanitarian heritage in serving pilgrims.

The Hajj Conference and Exhibition is an annual prominent platform to review achievements, exchange knowledge, and promote innovation in the Hajj system, cementing Saudi Arabia's status as a global reference in managing rituals, organising crowds, and serving pilgrims with modern methods that combine authenticity and modernity.
