MBMA and Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute Forge Diplomatic Cooperation Programme

Manama: During the fourth meeting of the Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Council, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia signed a cooperation programme.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement was signed between the Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA) and the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies. The programme was signed by Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, on behalf of Bahrain, and by His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, on behalf of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Al Zayani commended the deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He praised the continuous efforts of the Bahraini-Saudi Coordination Council, chaired by the Crown Princes and Prime Ministers of both countries, in enhancing cooperation and integration.

He emphasised that the Council has significantly advanced joint cooperation through strategic initiatives and projects across various sectors. Dr. Al Zayani added that the signing of the cooperation programme between MBMA and the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute is part of the Council's Political Committee efforts to strengthen coordination and implement joint training programmes. These programmes aim to develop the capabilities of diplomats in both ministries and prepare them scientifically, politically, and diplomatically to serve the foreign policy objectives of both brotherly countries.
