Makkah: The Makkah Chamber, represented by the Makkah Center for Economic Information and Studies, has released the "Pulse of Business in the Holy Capital" report. This report provides an analytical overview of the developmental transformations occurring in Makkah, focusing on efforts to develop services and modern infrastructure to enhance the experience of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors globally. These initiatives align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the report underscores the rapid development in the Holy Capital, highlighting its Islamic and humanitarian significance. It focuses on the ongoing development of services, quality of life improvement, and enhancements in infrastructure and smart services. These efforts respond to the increasing number of visitors and Umrah performers year-round.
The report addresses several key areas concerning Makkah's future development, including the evolution of the Hajj and Umrah system, strengthening logistics and transport services, and expanding digital solutions and smart infrastructure. Additionally, it covers environmental and urban sustainability and the empowerment of service sectors.
The report further reviews indicators related to infrastructure development and modern services, along with the expansion of technical solutions and improved transport and logistics efficiency. Abdullah Saleh Kamel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Makkah Chamber, stated that the report is part of the chamber's efforts to support developmental knowledge. Thamer bin Ahmed Baazeem, Secretary General of the Makkah Chamber, noted that the report is the first in a series of specialized studies and reports prepared by the Makkah Center for Economic Information and Studies. These aim to support decision-making, enrich development discussions, and strengthen integration among entities involved in development and services in Makkah.
