Dubai: The Maan (Together) Programme Against Violence and Addiction has been honored with the Ideas Arabia International Award in its 18th edition, specifically in the Education and Training category as part of the Dubai Quality Group Awards. The accolade is one of the specialized awards that acknowledge innovative initiatives and ideas that have a significant impact on enhancing institutional performance and fostering a culture of innovation and quality.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this accomplishment is in line with the directives of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, to bolster innovation in security and community work, and to develop preventive programmes rooted in education, training, and awareness. These initiatives aim to shield youth, advance positive values, and fortify community security.
The award ceremony took place in Dubai, as part of the Dubai Quality Group Awards 2026. Ali Ahmed Ameeni, Director of Crime Prevention and Director of the Maan Programme, accepted the award, acknowledging the programme's excellence in preventive education and training through the execution of quality initiatives and programmes aimed at students, parents, and the school community.
