Labour Minister Engages with BIBF Chief Executive on Employment Opportunities

Manama: Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Labour and Minister of Legal Affairs, recently met with Dr. Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh, Chief Executive of the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF). The meeting aimed to explore avenues for enhancing collaboration in the training and qualification of jobseekers to improve their employment prospects in Bahrain's banking and financial sector.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions highlighted the significance of investing in human capital and preparing Bahraini talent to align with the evolving demands of the labour market. The focus was on the role of specialised training programmes that equip citizens with essential digital skills required in various sectors.

The conversation emphasized the need to further develop tailored training initiatives to address future labour market needs, boost the competitiveness of the national workforce, and strengthen Bahrain's status as a premier regional hub for training and capacity development.
