London: Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, and Ed Miliband, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, reviewed the strategic partnership and longstanding relations between the two countries. The meeting was held during the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister's official visit to London.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the two sides emphasized their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation across various domains, particularly political, defence, investment, and cultural cooperation, in support of their mutual interests. They also discussed the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts to enhance security and stability in the region and ensure the safety and freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
The two sides underscored their commitment to intensifying Kuwaiti-British coordination at various levels amid the current regional circumstances to address ongoing challenges and rapidly evolving developments.
