Kuwaiti Amir Receives Call from Egyptian President to Discuss Regional Security

Manama: His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, received a telephone call from Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The two leaders reviewed the longstanding relations between their countries and peoples, discussed issues of mutual interest, and exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, particularly the current situation in the region.

According to Bahrain News Agency, President El Sisi condemned the attacks targeting Kuwait, describing them as a flagrant violation of international law and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability. He also stressed Egypt's firm rejection of any attempt to undermine Kuwait's sovereignty, security, or stability.

The Egyptian President also reaffirmed Egypt's solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures the country takes to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and stability.
