Kuwait Intercepts Missile and Drone Attack from Iran, Four Navy Personnel Injured

Kuwait city: The Ministry of Defence in the State of Kuwait announced that the armed forces had, since Tuesday evening, detected one ballistic missile, five cruise missiles and 33 hostile drones, all of which were intercepted and dealt with.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Colonel Staff Saud Al Atwan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, stated that the Iranian aggression targeted a number of vital and civilian facilities, resulting in debris falling in several locations across the country and causing material damage.

He added that one of the Kuwaiti Navy's vessels had been targeted, leading to injuries of four members of the armed forces. The injured personnel received the necessary medical care and treatment and remain in stable condition.

Colonel Al Atwan affirmed that the armed forces are continuing to perform their duties and responsibilities efficiently. This is within the framework of continuous readiness and permanent preparedness, aimed at enhancing national security and safeguarding the safety of citizens and residents.
