Kuwait Intercepts Iranian Missiles and Drones Targeting Critical Infrastructure

Manama: Kuwait's Air Defense Forces intercepted four cruise missiles and 21 hostile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that violated the country's airspace since dawn on Wednesday, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Colonel Saud Al Atwan, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, confirmed that the Iranian aerial attack targeted several critical infrastructure facilities across the country. The successful interceptions neutralized the primary threats, leading to material damage but fortunately no casualties.

Colonel Al Atwan emphasized that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces remain at the highest level of combat readiness and operational vigilance. They continue to carry out their defensive duties to safeguard national sovereignty and ensure the security and safety of citizens and residents.
