Kuwait Detects Four Ballistic Missiles and 42 Drones in Past 24 Hours

Kuwait city: The Ministry of Defence of the State of Kuwait reported that the Armed Forces detected four ballistic missiles and 42 drones within Kuwaiti airspace over the past 24 hours, and that they were handled in accordance with approved procedures.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this came in a statement delivered by Colonel Saud Al Atwan, official spokesman of the Ministry of Defence of Kuwait, during a media briefing on the current developments and operational events in light of the Iranian attacks on the State of Kuwait.

Colonel Al Atwan said that the Iranian aggression resulted in the targeting of a number of facilities belonging to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, in addition to power stations and water desalination plants.

He affirmed that the Armed Forces, along with the relevant authorities, are monitoring the situation continuously and are working around the clock with high efficiency and responsibility to address any threats or ongoing field developments, maintaining the same high level of readiness and full preparedness they have upheld since the beginning of the aggression.

Colonel Al Atwan also called on everyone to obtain information from official approved sources and not to be led by rumours or circulate inaccurate information, due to its impact on security and public safety.
