Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait strongly condemned and denounced the Iranian attacks carried out with missiles and hostile drones that targeted several sites in Kuwait. These attacks included a residential complex, constituting a violation of Kuwait's sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported that in a statement, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the continuation of these attacks constitutes a breach of international law and the UN Charter, as well as a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
The ministry highlighted that such actions represent an escalation that threatens regional security and stability and undermines diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and reducing tensions.
Furthermore, the ministry reiterated Kuwait's right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its security and interests, and ensure the safety of its people and residents in accordance with international law.
