IPA Director General Engages with Georgetown University’s Chief of External Affairs to Boost Academic Collaboration


Manama: Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), welcomed Elie Farhat, Associate Dean and Chief of External Affairs at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in the USA, in a meeting aimed at fortifying academic and institutional ties in training, capacity building, and executive education.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the Director General highlighted the significance of forging partnerships with global universities and academic entities to enhance training and executive programs, promote the exchange of expertise, and prepare national leaders. This initiative aligns with the IPA’s strategic objectives to improve institutional performance.



The discussions also explored potential avenues for joint cooperation in crafting and implementing specialized training and executive programs. The meeting delved into strategies to broaden collaboration across various sectors, targeting the achievement of mutual goals.



Farhat, for his part, acknowledged the IPA’s pivotal role in competency development and capacity building. He expressed eagerness to bolster cooperation in training and executive education fields, underscoring a shared commitment to advancing these educational imperatives.
