Manama: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), the opening ceremony of the second edition of the International Sports and Security Exhibition (ISSE) was held at Exhibition World Bahrain. The exhibition, organized by the GSA and the Bahrain Shooting Federation under the supervision of Diplomatic Protocol Communications, will run until June 17.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the opening ceremony was attended by notable figures including HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the GSA; HH Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa; HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour and President of the Bahrain Shooting Federation; and Shaikh Ali bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC). Other distinguished attendees included Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism; Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, Chief Executive Officer of the GSA; Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Police; Major-General Abdullah Mohammed Al Zayed, Inspector-General at the Ministry of Interior; and Yani Lotrek, Founder of Diplomatic Protocol Communications.
Attendees had the opportunity to tour the exhibition, which features the latest solutions and technologies presented by specialized companies and institutions focused on security, safety, smart systems, artificial intelligence, drones, robotics, modern defense systems, facility protection, and airspace management.
