Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received Major-General Abdul Sami Abdul Hakim, Director-General of Pakistan's Frontier Works Organisation (FWO). The meeting underscored the robust relationship between Bahrain and Pakistan, with special emphasis on security collaboration.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, was also present at the meeting. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah praised the enduring ties between Bahrain and Pakistan, highlighting both nations' eagerness to further enhance cooperation. He stressed the significance of cooperation, coordination, expertise exchange, and the adoption of best practices to boost readiness levels and strengthen measures aimed at ensuring public safety and securing effective responses to various risks.
The discussions during the meeting also addressed several topics focused on reinforcing bilateral cooperation and tackling security challenges.
