Interior Minister Engages with HRH Prince Turki bin Faisal Al Saud on Strategic Cooperation

Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, met with His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025, an event that underscores the commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to international peace and security.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain. During the discussions, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa highlighted the deep-rooted and historical ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing their mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation in various fields.

The Minister noted that the strategic and international forum, IISS Manama Dialogue, reflects Bahrain's dedication to contributing to global peace and security. This aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which promotes peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and openness for the security and well-being of all.

General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah also praised HRH Prince Turki bin Faisal's active participation in the IISS Manama Dialogue and his significant contributions to advancing regional and global peace, with a foundation in human rights and international law.
