Information and Education Ministers Celebrate Success at Student Competition Finale

Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, and Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, attended the finale of the "From the Classroom to the Spotlight" programme, celebrating and awarding winners of the student competition. This initiative, produced collaboratively by the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Education, engages government school students in a cultural and knowledge-based competition.According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Noaimi emphasized the importance of supporting quality initiatives for the youth, aligning with the Kingdom of Bahrain's development goals under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He highlighted the role of youth in shaping Bahrain's future and acknowledged the support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in fostering an environment conducive to creativity and innovation.The Information Minister praised the collabo ration between government bodies, particularly the Ministry of Education, in executing the programme. This cooperation exemplifies effective joint governmental efforts as part of Team Bahrain. Dr. Al Noaimi noted the programme's combination of educational and entertainment elements, reaffirming a commitment to enhancing media and educational initiatives that support the development of young people.Dr. Juma, on his part, stressed the significance of organizing programmes that promote creativity and leadership among students. He called for the expansion of such initiatives to reach all educational stages, aligning with the Ministry of Education's strategic plan for student activities. The Education Minister also highlighted the ongoing partnership with the Ministry of Information and the intention to launch more specialized programmes that encourage student competition and personal development.The Ministry of Education consistently launches various programmes and competitions tailored to student interests, identifying talented individuals and nurturing their skills in collaboration with governmental and other institutions.At the programme's conclusion, winners from 12 participating government schools were honored. Al Malikiyah Primary Intermediate Girls School secured first place, followed by West Riffa Primary Intermediate Girls School in second, and Al Busaiteen Intermediate Boys School in third. Both ministers commended the schools, students, and staff for their outstanding performance and dedication, acknowledging the high standard achieved in the competition.
