His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received a cable of congratulations from the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), HE Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, following the successful launch of the first joint Bahraini-Emirati satellite, “Light-1”.
HE Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed noted that the national milestone was achieved thanks to the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to develop and encourage national innovative cadres, and to support scientific and technological achievements, as well as investments in space exploration.
