Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (80) of 2025, appointing new directors at the Social Insurance Organization (SIO). This decision was based on a proposal submitted by the Minister of Finance and National Economy.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict specifies the appointment of five directors to various directorates within the SIO. Maha Sadiq Abdulkarim Al Shehabi has been appointed as the Director of the Actuarial Studies and Risk Management Directorate. Nawal Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Awaid takes on the role of Director of the Legal Affairs and Inspection Directorate. Faisal Abdullah Saad Al Huwaihi has been named Director of the Communication and Awareness Directorate. Mohammed Abdullah Ahmed Al Janahi assumes the position of Director of the Registration and Contributions Directorate, while Fatima Hassan Ahmed Jassim has been appointed as the Director of the Retirees' Services Directorate.
The edict also mandates that the Minister of Finance and National Economy is responsible for implementing its provisions. The appointments are effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
