HRH Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Meets U.S. Ambassador and Special Envoy for Syria

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, engaged in a meeting with Thomas J. Barrack, the Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Trkiye and Special Envoy for Syria. This meeting occurred on the sidelines of the 21st edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness affirmed the historic and deep-rooted relationship between Bahrain and the United States, which continues to progress across various sectors. This advancement is supported by a mutual commitment to reinforce bilateral cooperation in pursuit of shared interests.

His Royal Highness highlighted the significance of enhancing collaboration between the two nations, particularly within the framework of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA). This agreement serves as a foundation for deeper cooperation.

Prince Salman bin Hamad acknowledged the crucial role of the United States and its allies in maintaining regional and global security, stability, and development. In this context, he reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain's unwavering commitment to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, a step seen as beneficial for both the Palestinian people and the broader region.

The meeting also included discussions on issues of common interest and the latest regional and global developments. Attending the meeting were His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard; His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa; His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy.
