HRH Crown Prince Meets UK Delegates at IISS Manama Dialogue 2025

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, met with The Rt Hon Yvette Cooper MP, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, along with senior delegates from the United Kingdom at the IISS Manama Dialogue 2025. The meeting highlighted the enduring partnership between Bahrain and the UK, which is supported by strategic partnerships and agreements in several areas, including military and defence.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness underscored the commitment of both nations to enhance cooperation for the mutual benefit of their countries and citizens. He emphasized the importance of multilateral collaboration through strategic partnerships and agreements like the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which the UK recently joined.

His Royal Highness also reaffirmed the UK's role in bolstering regional security and stability, contributing to peace and development both regionally and internationally. The meeting also covered recent regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest discussed during the forum.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, and several senior officials.
