HM King Praises Muharraq Nights Festival and Affirms Historical Standing


Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers have today highlighted several key events that took place over the past 24 hours, with a focus on the King’s commendation of the Muharraq Nights Festival.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King Hamad praised the Muharraq Nights Festival, emphasizing the city’s historical significance and authenticity. The King’s support underscores the cultural importance of Muharraq and its role in preserving the nation’s heritage.

In other developments, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Economic Development Board issued Edict (2) of 2025. Additionally, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister held a meeting with Maryam Abdulaziz AlDoseri, focusing on furthering national interests.

The Kingdom of Bahrain has reaffirmed the significant role of Saudi Arabia and the UAE in supporting security and stability in Yemen within the framework of GCC unity. This position highlights Bahrain’s commitment to regional cooperation and stability.

Bahrain
also condemned the attempt to target the residence of the Russian President, reflecting its stance against acts of aggression and support for global security.

Furthermore, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad attended a parade led by the Royal Guard Commander, showcasing military precision and strength. The Interior Minister was active in diplomatic engagements, receiving the Ambassador to Jordan and a delegation from the UAE.

Lastly, the Information Minister chaired the National Communication Centre’s fourth board of directors meeting for 2025, with the ICT Governance Committee reviewing government procurement requests totaling BD3 million.
