Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree-Law (38) of 2026, which amends certain provisions of Decree-Law (17) of 2002 concerning the system of governorates. This decision was made based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Prime Minister and the Ministers are tasked with implementing the provisions of this Decree-Law, each within their respective capacities. The decree will take effect from the date of its issuance in the Official Gazette.
