Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Ahmed Toufiq, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco, today at Al Safriya Palace. Minister Toufiq conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco and his best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Bahrain under His Majesty’s leadership. His Majesty relayed his greetings and best wishes to HM King Mohammed VI.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HM the King commended the Minister’s efforts in the fields of endowments and Islamic affairs. He highlighted the strong and historic relations between the two Kingdoms, noting the high level of Bahraini-Moroccan cooperation. The King emphasized the importance of such visits for exchanging expertise and enhancing joint efforts in Islamic affairs and endowments.
His Majesty also praised HM King Mohammed VI of Morocco for his role in strengthening the bilateral relations with Bahrain and for his efforts in serving the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations. On his part, Minister Toufiq expressed gratitude for the hospitality, commending His Majesty’s continued efforts to strengthen ties and enhance joint cooperation between the two Kingdoms. He wished Bahrain and its people ongoing progress and prosperity.
