Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Royal Decree (63) of 2025 appointing individuals to the Dispute Resolution Panels of the Bahrain International Commercial Court (BICC). This decision was made following a proposal by the Prime Minister and received approval from the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the newly appointed members of the BICC are Joan Donoghue, Dr. Pinky Anand, Judge Abdulrahman Al Sayed Mohammed Al Sayed Ahmed, Judge Khalid Hassan Ali Ajaji, Dr. Mohammed Salah Abdelwahab, Aysha Abdullah Mohammed Mutaywea, Chiann Bao, and Philippe Pinsolle. These individuals will serve on the panels tasked with resolving disputes in the international commercial arena.
The Prime Minister, along with the respective ministers, is responsible for implementing this decree. The decree is effective immediately upon issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette, ensuring transparency and adherence to procedural norms.
