HM King and Foreign Minister Engage in High-Level Diplomatic Activities

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on local events that happened over the past 24 hours. The key highlights include diplomatic engagements and significant meetings involving Bahrain's leadership.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King received the Commander of the US Central Command, along with further cables from Bahraini families affirming their loyalty and support. Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister briefed the media ahead of an emergency UN Security Council meeting, urging the council to act to end repeated Iranian attacks on Bahrain. Additionally, the Foreign Minister held meetings with the US Permanent Representative to the UN, the Costa Rican candidate for UN Secretary-General, and the Democratic Republic of Congo counterpart.

In other notable events, the Interior Minister met with the US Ambassador, while the Chief of Staff participated in the Military Strategic Partner Dialogue. Bahrain also chaired multiple GCC meetings, including the Petroleum Cooperation Committee Meeting, the 17th Committee of Social Affairs Experts meeting, and the ninth meeting of the GCC Supreme and Cassation Courts' Technical Office Committee. Furthermore, Bahrain's Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva chaired a GCC-EU Ambassadors' coordination meeting in Vienna.

On the domestic front, the Works and Housing ministries handed over a new batch of repaired housing units in Al Hidd Housing City.
