Manama: His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, was received today by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, upon arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, hosted by Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty was also welcomed by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, alongside several senior officials. The GCC Summit is an important platform for leaders of the Gulf nations to discuss and collaborate on various regional issues and initiatives.
