Manama: Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received Michael Dimino IV, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Near East and Central Asia, in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the strong relations and close strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, as well as their continued development across various domains.
His Highness emphasised the importance of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) in strengthening cooperation and integration between the two countries in support of mutual interests and regional security, stability and prosperity.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed topics of common interest and discussed means to further strengthen cooperation and coordination between Bahrain and the United States. They also exchanged views on regional issues and developments and efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.
