HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Commends Second-Place Winner of Arab Reading Challenge

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, received Mohammed Jassim Mubarak, a student from Ahlia Private School, in recognition of his achievement in securing second place in the ninth Arab Reading Challenge, which attracted the participation of more than 32 million students from 50 Arab and international countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness affirmed that Mohammed's accomplishment reflects the advanced capabilities of Bahraini students and the support they enjoy under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which continues to drive Bahrain's progress and excellence in the educational sector.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad noted that this achievement embodies the intellectual and creative potential of Bahraini youth, enabling them to excel in prominent regional and international competitions. His Highness praised Mohammed's determination and excellence, expressing confidence that this success will inspire further initiatives in the fields of reading and culture, while motivating his peers to strive for distinction.

For his part, Mohammed expressed appreciation for the honour, noting that meeting His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad constitutes a source of pride and encouragement to continue pursuing excellence. He extended gratitude to the leadership, his family, school, and all those who supported him throughout his journey, expressing his aspiration to continue raising Bahrain's name in international forums.
