Manama:According to Bahrain News Agency, Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, the Minister of Works, emphasized that the government's preparedness and coordination among various entities have facilitated a rapid and efficient response to emergency situations. This reflects the capability of national institutions to transition quickly from assessment to implementation in response to different circumstances.
Minister Al Hawaj noted that this readiness is a result of the strong institutional foundations established through Bahrain's comprehensive development process, guided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directives from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Ministry of Works has adopted an integrated approach for repairing and rehabilitating damaged homes, in accordance with these directives. This approach includes rapid damage assessment, technical evaluations, and implementation under a clear plan and timeframe.
The Ministry's efforts have accelerated repair work, ensuring compliance with approved technical standards. Specialized engineering and technical teams have addressed damage specific to each location, covering structural repairs, finishing work, and utilities. They also provided consistent field follow-up and quality verification throughout the process.
In addition to repair work, the Ministry of Works has continued to progress on its approved projects and plans across various sectors, despite the challenges posed by Iranian attacks. This demonstrates the Ministry's flexibility in managing resources, addressing emergency needs, and maintaining its development commitments. The Ministry remains focused on enhancing working methods and leveraging experience to improve project quality and speed up implementation, thereby supporting efficient government services and maintaining infrastructure quality for citizens.
