New York:Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, met with Maria Malmer Stenergard, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on discussing bilateral cooperation and exploring ways to enhance it in areas of mutual interest that benefit both countries.
The ministers also exchanged views on recent regional developments and issues of common concern. Attending the meeting were Ambassador Jamal Fares Al Rowaie, Permanent Representative of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, and Ambassador Saeed Abdulkhaliq Saeed, Chief of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector.
