Gold Prices Decline as Spot Gold Falls by 0.5%

Manama: Gold prices eased on Monday with spot gold down 0.5% at $4,327.09 per ounce by 0528 GMT, following a third consecutive weekly decline on Friday. U.S. gold futures also saw a reduction, dropping 0.9% to $4,367.50.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the decline in gold prices was accompanied by a decrease in the value of other metals. Spot silver experienced a 1% drop to $63.80 per ounce. Platinum also saw a slight dip of 0.2% to $1,792.59, while palladium decreased by 0.4% to $1,293.86. The movement in the metal markets comes amidst various global economic factors impacting investor sentiment.
