Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), organised a cultural tour for resident Arab ambassadors at the Muharraq Nights Festival. The tour included visits to historic houses, Al Qaisariya Market, and the Pearl Museum, as part of efforts to highlight the Kingdom of Bahrain's cultural and civilisational heritage.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the tour was attended by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the BACA; Ambassador Dr. Yousef Abdulkarim Bucheeri, Director General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Rami Saleh Wreikat Al Adwan, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Bahrain and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps.
The initiative aimed to introduce members of the Arab diplomatic corps to the historical heritage of Muharraq and its cultural landmarks, while highlighting cultural and heritage projects implemented by the BACA.
On their part, the Arab ambassadors expressed their appreciation for the initiative and commended the Muharraq Nights Festival and its role in promoting tourism in the Kingdom.
