Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Brigadier General Ahmad Al Hajjar, Minister of Interior and Municipalities of the Republic of Lebanon, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to attend the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025. The meeting underscored the significant and historical relations between the two nations and the ongoing progress in various sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation to serve the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples. The meeting also highlighted the Lebanese government's efforts to bolster security and stability within Lebanon, maintain its sovereignty and independence, and fulfill the aspirations of its citizens for growth and prosperity.
Additionally, Dr. Al Zayani and Brigadier General Al Hajjar exchanged views on recent regional developments and their potential impact on security and stability in the region.
