Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA), chaired the board's first meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year following its restructuring.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani welcomed the board members and expressed gratitude for their contributions and ongoing support for the academy. The meeting marked a pivotal moment for the newly restructured board as it set the stage for future developments in diplomatic education and training.
Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Academy, presented an overview of the academy's significant milestones and achievements in 2025. She also outlined the priorities of the 2026 training plan, highlighting the academy's commitment to advancing its educational programs.
The board members commended the achievements and reiterated their support for enhancing the academy's capabilities. They emphasized the importance of developing programs to meet expectations and further the Kingdom of Bahrain's diplomatic goals on the international stage.
