Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, received Kenji Yamada, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. The meeting was attended by Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa affirmed the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Japan and the mutual interest in further developing them across various domains, particularly in the economic, trade, and investment sectors. He emphasized the importance of building on the progress achieved in cooperation and coordination, supported by the agreements and distinguished partnership between the two countries, in a way that advances shared goals and benefits both countries and their peoples.
The meeting also reviewed economic, trade, and investment cooperation, explored promising investment opportunities, and discussed issues of common interest and the latest global economic developments. Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, and Asako Oka, Ambassador of Japan to Bahrain, also attended the meeting.
