Manama: The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has launched a virtual inspection service to handle new water connection applications. This initiative is part of the government's efforts to enhance service quality and re-engineer government services.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this new service allows citizens, residents, institutions, and commercial companies to apply online for new water connections and meters for newly constructed buildings. The introduction of this service has significantly reduced the processing time from five working days to two by streamlining the procedures. Additionally, the number of service steps and required documents have also been minimized, further facilitating the application process.
