Manama: The Electricity and Water Authority has announced a significant upgrade to its monthly fixed discount calculator service, transforming it into a fully digital offering. This development aims to streamline the process for subscribers, allowing them to quickly and automatically determine the value of their monthly fixed discount before applying for a subscription. The calculation is based on the subscriber's average consumption over a previous period, following the applicable tariff, thereby improving service efficiency and enhancing the user experience.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this upgraded service has been integrated into the Authority's website and the "Tawasul" app, eliminating the need for visits to service centres or calls to the call centre. This shift marks a complete digital transformation of the service, with all processes now being conducted automatically, reflecting the Authority's commitment to leveraging digital solutions to better serve its subscribers.
