The Eastern Amman Investors industrial association ( EAIIA) is scheduled to organize activities of the 3rd Jordan Packaging Exhibition (JOPEX) ), on June 5, with local and international participation.
According to an EAIIA statement on Wednesday, the event will be held at Jordan international exhibition Centre (Mecca Mall) in Amman, on an area of 500 square meters, in conjunction with 18th International Machines and Electro-mechanical Exhibition (JIMEX).
EAIIA Vice-President, Mohammed Zaki al-Soudi, announced the exhibition will see participation of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Iraq and Syria.
Jordan’s packaging industry developed “remarkably” in recent years, became “competitive” globally, kept pace with developments and introduced the latest specialized machinery into the sector, al-Soudi said.
The exhibition, he noted, aims to network the industrial sector’s companies and identify “innovative” products and ideas in the packaging solutions fields, which would help other industries to export their products.
The exhibition, he said, constitutes an opportunity for businesspeople, industrialists and merchants, to get acquainted with the latest packaging technology and learn about the sector’s creative solutions provided to industrial companies and business community, to export their products and support their competitiveness locally and globally.
