Madinah:A terrorist attack targeted the Taibah electricity distribution station in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, according to Major General Turki Al Malki, spokesperson for the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the attack, which occurred early last Tuesday, was carried out by the Houthi militia using a drone. Although one transformer was taken out of service, the public electricity network remained unaffected.
The Taibah station is a critical facility as it provides electricity services to the Prophet's Mosque. Major General Al Malki emphasized that this attack is part of the extremist militia's ongoing attempts to target the Two Holy Mosques, aiming to provoke Muslims worldwide.
Coalition forces continue to implement deterrent measures to neutralize the threats posed by the Houthi militia, ensuring the protection of the holy sites and the safety of visitors to the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah.
