Hanoi:Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, President at the Court of the Crown Prince, emphasized the importance of the royal address delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the inauguration of the fifth session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils. The address focused on national unity and combined efforts to promote Bahrain's comprehensive development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman noted that the royal directives serve as a framework for national action, safeguarding Bahrain's achievements under the leadership of His Majesty the King and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He further highlighted that the royal address underscored the priority of the interests of Bahrain and its citizens. Shaikh Salman stressed that national solidarity and cooperation between the executive and legislative branches are crucial for sustaining progress and fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
Additionally, Shaikh Salman expressed pride in the royal directive naming the upcoming year as the "Year of Isa bin Salman." He described this as a tribute to the late His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and his enduring legacy in building the modern Bahraini state.
